Dear Hidden Springs Families,

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Stephen Lush, as the new Principal of Hidden Springs.

I began my career in education in the Inland Empire and am thrilled to be returning. Over the past 25 years I have served as a teacher and school administrator in Palm Springs, Menifee, Chino, and in Oregon and abroad in South America and Asia. 

Those years taught me that every child deserves a school where they feel known, challenged, and supported, and that the strongest schools are built through authentic partnership between families and staff.

I cannot wait to bring my experience and passion for education to work with you and your children in Moreno Valley, continuing the tradition of excellence at Hidden Springs. 

In the coming weeks you will see me on campus, at drop off and pick up, at events, and in classrooms, so please introduce yourself to me. I want to hear what you love about this school and what you hope to see grow and improve.

I truly look forward to working with all of you at Hidden Springs Elementary School. I am eager to get to know you and your children, and I look forward to working with you to make this an excellent school year.

I am honored to join Hidden Springs Elementary as your Assistant Principal. As an experienced teacher and administrator with Moreno Valley Unified School District, I have had the privilege of working alongside dedicated educators, students, and families to create positive learning environments where every child can thrive.

I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school community. My goal is to support our students’ academic, social, and emotional growth while partnering with our talented staff and families to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff. Together, I am confident we will make this a successful, joyful, and memorable school year.
